Carol Singers at the Ministry of Defense
CHISINAU, December 26, 2011 — Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta was the host of a group of carol singers Monday, December 26, who wished the Minister and the National Army employees all the best on Christmas and New Year.
The first ones were the carol singers from Stefan Voda and Chisinau. They came to the Ministry of Defense with drums, bells, as well as masks. According to the national traditions, the carol singers wished the homeland defenders much health, welfare and happy winter holidays.
The guests sang a few carols and played a traditional New Year sketch with the dancing bear. The young men danced and sang and their carols were full of good words and advice for people to remember all the year in order to be lucky in the next year.
The Minister of Defense listened to the carol singers with much enthusiasm. When they finished, Vitalie Marinuta gave them money and invited them to come again next year. The Minister wished everyone to have a better year than the previous one.
