National Army Servicemen Awarded for Work Performance

CHISINAU, December 29, 2011 — Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta honored the military and the civilian staff of the National Army today, December 29, during the 2011 summing-up ceremony.

Vitalie Marinuta awarded the medals for “Service to Fatherland”, “For Excellent Service in the National Army”, “For Meritorious Service” and the Badge of Gratitude to nearly 30 servicemen for successful combat readiness activity in 2011.

The Minister of Defense thanked the military staff for high commitment to their missions wishing them happy winter holidays. “I wish you health, luck, happiness and confidence in a better future for all Republic of Moldova citizens. Be assiduous and brave in making only good things together”, Vitalie Marinuta stated.

According to the Defense Minister’s order, servicemen from the Southern and Northern units of the country have been honored too. Thus, a total of nearly 90 military and civil employees of the National Army were awarded diplomas, military medals and rank promotions.
