A Group of National Army Servicemen Complete the English Language CourseCHISINAU, January 20, 2012 — 36 military and civil employees of the National Army received Friday, January 20, the graduation diplomas on the completion of the English language course held at the Linguistic Center of Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy. The Commander of the Military Academy, Col. Mihail Buclis, handed out the diplomas to the graduates, wishing them success in their further professional development. According to the Chief of Linguistic Center, Maj. Ludmila Ianovici-Pascal, 36 servicemen from the National Army military units and institutions completed the basic and intermediate English course that lasted for 19 months. The main goal of the course focused on the development of the four basic language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing. The head of the Linguistic Center pointed out that, upon the completion of the course, the students had to pass the STANAG The Linguistic Center of Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of the Armed Forces aims at implementing the concept of linguistic training in the National Army and adjusting the linguistic training process to the up-to-date requirements. Nearly 747 servicemen have graduated from different training courses held by the Linguistic Center so far. The graduates of the courses recorded significant progress in term of foreign language skills level, mainly focusing on English language. |
