CSCA Sportsmen Get Bronze Medals at Minsk Airmodelling Competition


The sportsmen of the Central Sports Club of the Army won two bronze medals at the Sports Airmodelling Competition in Minsk, Belarus.

Tanase Ionuta, Deputy Chief of CSCA, stated the competition had been dedicated to the Homeland Defender Day. The Republic of Moldova was represented at the competition by three sportsmen of CSCA.

“At the individual competition, two of them — Igor Dementiev and Alexandru Erisov — got two bronze medals for the F-2D contest. They were also awarded diplomas of appreciation for their performances”, Ionuta said.

According to the quoted source, before that, the CSCA members were awarded two more medals at the sports events held within the Opening Ceremony of the Sports Airmodelling Competition during February 18-19, in Kiev, Ukraine.

The Sports Airmodelling Competition in Minsk brought together over 20 sportsmen from Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and Republic of Moldova.
