CSCA Wins Seven Medals at the Open Shooting Championship

CHISINAU, May 16, 2012 — The sportsmen of the Central Sports Club of the Army (CSCA) won seven medals at the Open Shooting Championship from Tiraspol.

The head of CSCA, Victor Belevici, stated the best performances were recorded by the sportsmen Vladislav Bejenari, Ivan Aric and Iurie Stamatin. They were awarded golden medals at pistol and pistol categories.

Irina Andreeva and Stanislav Dodon won the silver medals for the gun category and Artiom Berezovschii got silver for the pistol category.

The Sport Club of the Army also won a bronze medal due to Alexandru Denisov’s performance at the pistol category.

This year, the Open Shooting Championship dedicated to the 67^th anniversary since the liberation of Moldova from the fascist occupation brought together over 30 sportsmen from the sports schools and clubs of the country. The goal of the event was to determine and appreciate the best shooters assigning them for further participation in European and regional competitions.
