Computers from China for Military Students
CHISINAU, July 5, 2012 — The Moldovan-Chinese Center for Social-Economical Cooperation from the People’s Republic of China donated computer devices to Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of the Armed Forces.
According to Col. Andrei Sarban, Deputy Chief of National Army Main Staff for Resource Management, this donation is a support to the development of military education system in the Republic of Moldova. “I believe the event is a first step in establishing mutually profitable relations of cooperation between the National Army institutions and the Moldovan-Chinese Center”, Col. Sarban specified during the donation ceremony.
Li Yan, representative of the Moldovan-Chinese Center, stated the technical assistance offered to the National Army is an important factor aimed to develop relations of cooperation between the two states, including the military area. It is also an important support for the education of future National Army officers.
The donation estimated at over 12 thousand USD consists of laptops, printing machines and a video projector, that will be used in the conference rooms of Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy.
