Moldovan-Lithuanian cooperation plan was signedChişinău, January 29th 2013 — The bilateral Moldovan-Lithuanian cooperation plan for 2013 was signed at The Ministry of Defense. The document was completed during bilateral military-political conferences held on According to Colonel Oleg Mulco, deputy chief of Defense policy and defense planning Directorate, the working meetings evaluated the state of military cooperation between both countries, and the priority directions of the Moldovan-Lithuanian relations for this year were set. In this context, the Moldovan side thanked the Lithuanian colleagues for the support in developing directives of the National Army’s Headquarters as well as for developing peacekeeping capacity. In turn, the Director of International Relations and Operational Department of the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania, Zilvinas Tomkus, reiterated his country’s position on assistance in personnel training, that is to continue the training of military and civilian employees of the National Army in military educational institutions in Lithuania. During the visit in Chisinau, the Lithuanian delegation had working meetings within the Bureau of reintegration and OSCE representatives. |
