„Moldovan Servicemembers – 10 Years of Participation in UN Missions”

Chisinau, June 4, 2013 — The anniversary edition of magazine “Oastea Moldovei” — official publication of Republic of Moldova Ministry of Defense — entitled “Moldovan Servicemembers — 10 Years of Participation in UN Missions” — was launched at the Ministry of Defense.

This edition marks 10 years of National Army servicemembers’ participation in UN missions and the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers (May 29). The magazine has 48 pages in Romanian and English. It describes 10 stories of Moldovan peacekeepers (of a total of 77) that have successfully fulfilled their duties in UN peacekeeping missions within 2003-2013.

On June 3, magazine “Oastea Moldovei” was put for sale in all the news stalls of the country.
