American Training for National Army Doctors



CHISINAU, July 23, 2013 — A group of National Army servicemembers attend, during July 22-26, the seminar “American healthcare system and patients care”, conducted by representatives of North Carolina National Guard medical service (USA).

According to the interim Head of Medical Section of Main Staff, Maj. Sergiu Cirlan, the event is an exchange of experience and use of best American practices in the medical care area.

The quoted source said that the training brought together 25 officers and NCOs of the National Army medical service and medical military institutions of the Ministry of Defense and it consists of two parts, focusing on the review of prehospital emergency care procedures.

The event will also include meetings with military doctors on the subject “Brigade medical care in multinational peacekeeping operations”.

The training is part of a larger project launched in March 2013 and conducted by the US Office of Defense Cooperation and aimed at improving healthcare system in our country.
