Best Soldiers Go Home

CHISINAU, October 1, 2013 — The best conscripts drafted into the National Army last autumn were demobilized within a ceremony held in Military Compound 142 of Chisinau Garrison.

Col. Igor Gorgan, Chief of National Army Main Staff, awarded diplomas of honor, certificates of appreciation and letters of gratitude to 60 soldiers. Eight soldiers were conferred the rank of E3 for high achievements in combat readiness and good discipline during their service.

According to the Head of Personnel Division, National Army Main Staff, Col. Eduard Ohladciuc, other 500 soldiers will be demobilized by the end of October.

Conscription is held four times a year. The service in the Armed Forces lasts 12 months.
