Joint Exercise “JCET 2015”



CHISINAU, June 26, 2015 — Servicemembers from the 20th Special Forces Group of the North Carolina National Guard, USA and from National Army Special Forces Battalion “Fulger” participated at the joint exercise “Joint Combined Exchange Training — 2015” (JCET) within June 1-26. The training was held at the Training center of “Moldova” Brigade from Balti.

According to LTC Tudor Martea, Commander of Special Forces Battalion “Fulger”, the exercises included 4 modules of training: advanced firing techniques, close quarters combat, artillery fire call, and a field training exercise.

LTC Martea mentioned that within the exercise, over 80 servicemembers were trained by their American colleagues to carry out different missions. Also, they carried out shooting drills with heavy and light infantry weapons of National and US Armies.

The main goal of the “JCET — 2015” exercise was the joint training and the exchange of experience between Moldovan and American special forces.
