US Soldiers Train National Army Medical Staff



CHISINAU, May 17, 2016 — The Moldovan-American exercise “Falcon Medic 2016” started today in “Stefan cel Mare” Brigade from Chisinau.

According to Chief of National Army medical service, LTC Dr. Sergiu Cirlan, the exercise is conducted within May 16-27, 2016 and aims to train the National Army medical staff. “Falcon Medic 2016” will end with a simulation of first aid in disasters.

The source specified that, throughout two weeks, 44 representatives of the medical staff of National Army units and medical-military centers and 20 soldiers of the medical service of North Carolina National Guard (USA) will test the existent concept of medical assistance in operations, the interoperability and will develop suggestions regarding the concept of first aid during disasters.

“Falcon Medic 2016” exercise is part of the Nursing Program implemented in the National Army and launched in 2013 with the support of North Carolina National Guard.
