Moldovan-Romanian Discussions in Chisinau

CHISINAU, August 27, 2016 — Minister of Defense Anatol Salaru met today with Minister of National Defense of Romania, Mihnea Motoc.

The officials talked about security in the region and the opportunities for future military cooperation.

The ministers agreed to strengthen the defense cooperation, both on bilateral level, as well as within the partnership of Moldova with NATO and EU.

Minister of National Defense of Romania, Mihnea Motoc, attended today the military parade for the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, at the invitation of his Moldovan counterpart, Anatol Salaru.
