National Army Soldiers Train in GermanyCHISINAU, September 7, 2016 — A National Army platoon participates in the multinational exercise “Combined Resolve VII”, held in Germany, within August 27 — September 16. According to contingent’s Commander, Maj. Victor Trohin, the exercise is led by U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) and aims to jointly train the NATO allies and partner-nations troops, as well as to ensure the right level of interoperability in international missions. The source mentioned that the National Army deployed to “Combined Resolve VII” officers and NCOs from the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion. This year, the exercise is held at Hohenfels and Grafenwöhr Training Areas from Germany. It will bring together more than 3,500 soldiers from Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, France, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, the United States of America, and Ukraine.
