Ministry of Defense Conducts “Cetatea 2016” Exercise

CHISINAU, October 5, 2016 — The National Army service members are participating in the command exercise “Cetatea 2016” (the Citadel 2016), within October 4-5, 2015.

According to National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Cutie, the exercise’s goal is the training of planning skills in defense operations and capacity building for planning documents development and military operations command.

The source mentioned that the National Army staff will train within the Battle Group Command together with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Intelligence and Security Service.

“Cetatea 2016” is part of the National Army Training Plan for 2016.
