National Army Soldiers Train in Germany



CHISINAU, November 2, 2016 — The National Army service members are conducting practical activities within “KFOR MRE 22” (Mission Rehearsal Exercise) in Hohenfels.

Thus, within October 31-November 4, the Moldovan contingent, together with troops from Romania and Armenia, is training on removing obstacles to facilitate movement, crowd control, patrol in the area of responsibility and mobile checkpoint.

The EOD engineers are conducting missions of search, detection, marking, detection, and assessment of field conditions, disposal of explosive objects on site, and removing explosive objects from buildings using different methods.

The National Army deployed 90 infantrymen and engineers to “Mission Rehearsal Exercise” (KFOR MRE 22) held at the Training Area from Hohenfels, Germany, within October 20-November 6, 2016.

“Mission Rehearsal Exercise” brings together soldiers from Albania, Armenia, Croatia, Germany, Georgia, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, the USA, and aims to train the troops for international peacekeeping operations.
