National Army Commander – Visit to Virginia

CHISINAU, December 14, 2016 — Chief of General Staff, National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Cutie, is attending the annual Chiefs of Transformation Conference (COTC) organized by Allied Command Transformation (ACT) in Norfolk, Virginia, USA, within December 13-15, 2016. The Conference brings together chiefs of General Staff from NATO member and partner states.

According to head of Strategic Planning Directorate, Col. Sergiu Vicol, the event’s goal is to exchange successful practices in the transformation sector and to identify new cooperation areas among NATO members and partners.

This conference is also a unique opportunity for the partner countries to discuss the foremost initiatives of the innovation and transformation sector until 2030.
