The National Army Starts New Military Training Year

CHISINAU, January 5, 2017 — Military training year 2017 started on January 3, 2017 in all the National Army garrisons.

Chief of General Staff, National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Cutie, stated that, in 2017, the defense institution will focus on capacity building of command structures and military units, in order to ensure the fulfillment of its main mission.

On the other hand, in order to meet the international commitments undertaken by our country, the National Army will continue to contribute to international peace and stability by participating in missions of UN, EU, OSCE, and other international security organizations.

Gen. Cutie specified that the training year started with theoretical sessions and trainings for the conscripts and service members in all National Army garrisons, according to the yearly training plan.
