British Training for National Army Service Members



CHISINAU, May 11, 2017 — The British Military Advisory Training Team (BMATT) from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is holding, for the first time in the National Army, a training course for junior commanders.

According to the chief of Personnel Directorate of the General Staff, the activity is organized within May 8-June 2, 2017 at the National Army Military Training Base in Bulboaca and aims to develop the commanding skills of the junior officer corps by using advanced procedures of action during military operations.

The source specified that, within the course, 30 junior lieutenants from National Army units are studying the planning, command, and evaluation at group/platoon level of training techniques, combat procedures, as well as weapon handling.
