“JCET-2017” Multinational Exercise Starts in Bulboaca



CHISINAU, June 6, 2017 — About 70 service members from the National Army Special Forces, Special Operations Forces of the Romanian Army, and Special Forces of the US Army are participating in the exercise “JCET-2017” (Joint Combined Exchange Training), within June 5-30, 2017.

According to commander of Special Forces Battalion, LTC Veceaslav Balan, the trainings are held at the National Army Military training base from Bulboaca and “Decebal” Air Base from Marculesti. The exercise’s goal is the joint training and exchange of experience between the service members of Moldovan, Romanian, and American special forces.

The source specified that the JCET scenario includes specific and advanced shooting drills, training on field, as well as parachute jumps.

The National Army has been participating in the “Joint Combined Exchange Training” since 2009.
