Moldovan-American Exercise Conducted in Balti
CHISINAU, July 26, 2017 — Service members from the Land Forces of the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America are carrying out joint trainings during July
According to exercise’s commander, Lt. Alexandru Gangan, the training aims to assess the infantry units’ subdivisions and to test the interoperability between the service members of the two armies.
The source specified that the National Army deployed to the exercises 65 officers and NCOs from “Moldova”, “Stefan cel Mare”, and “Dacia” Brigades, and the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion, while the USA deployed 11 service members.
The exercise’s commander said that the participants will carry out missions on various training sites including observations posts, research of routes and other important areas and facilities.
“Agile Hunter 2017” exercise is part of a four-year training program that started in 2016.
