Over 600 Young Men Join the National Army
CHISINAU, July 27, 2017 — Over 600 young men from the Republic of Moldova have been enlisted in the National Army, within July
Thus, 91 recruits selected by the Recruitment Center from Chisinau, 93 from Balti Recruitment Center, and 45 from Cahul Recruitment Center joined the military ranks of the units from Chisinau, Balti, and Cahul garrisons. During the same period, other 411 young men selected by the Recruitment Centers from Causeni, Edinet, Hincesti, Orhei, Soroca, Straseni, and Ungheni were enlisted in the National Army.
According to head of Personnel Directorate, LTC Veaceslav Donica, after enlistment, the 640 young men will attend a two-month initial training course studying the tactics, square bashing, military regulations, physical training, and other elements of military education.
The mandatory military service lasts 12 months.
