France Has a New Attaché in the Republic of Moldova
CHISINAU, October 23, 2017 — State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Aurel Fondos, met with the new defense attaché of the French Republic in the Republic of Moldova, based in Bucharest, LTC Flavien Garrigou-Grandcham.
Aurel Fondos congratulated the military attaché on his appointment and wished him success in his mandate. The State Secretary expressed the conviction that the Moldovan-French military relations will be strengthened due to the efforts and professionalism of LTC Garrigou-Grandcham.
The officials agreed on implementing new projects in the sector, thus intensifying and developing the cooperation between the institutions and armies of Moldova and France.
The cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Defense of the French Republic was established in 1998.
