Social Projects for Military Discussed in Cahul

CHISINAU, July 26, 2018 — General State Secretary Radu Burduja paid a working visit to Cahul garrison, where he inspected the renovation of “Dacia” Brigade’s infrastructure and talked with the chiefs of the territorial military centers and units’ commanders attending the National Army’s monthly summarizing session.

While in Cahul, Radu Burduja informed the service members about the social projects implemented by the Ministry of Defense and the Government of the Republic of Moldova such as: offering allowances for the rental of housing, offering military housing in Chisinau, Balti, and Cahul garrisons, and the renovation of the National Army’s infrastructure.

The General State Secretary also referred to the benefits of the social project “Prima Casa 2” (First house 2). “The Ministry of Defense established a mobile team that will go to all the military garrisons to explain the conditions of this program destined to state employees and its advantages. I encourage you to inform your staff and to urge them to present the documents necessary for buying housing under convenient conditions offered by the State”, said Radu Burduja.

The General Secretary checked how the reparations in “Dacia” Brigade are conducted. The works aim to improve the military’s working conditions.
