National Army at “Platinum Lion 2018” ExerciseCHISINAU, July 31, 2018 — A National Army contingent is participating in the multinational exercise “Platinum Lion 2018” that is conducted at Novo Selo Training Base from Bulgaria, within July According to Maj. Igor Levitchi, commander of the Moldovan contingent, “Platinum Lion 2018” aims to increase interoperability between partner armies. The National Army deployed 81 service members to the exercise. “Platinum Lion 2018” brings together military from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Albania, Serbia, Romania, Georgia, and the United States of America. The National Army has been participating in this exercise since 2016. |
