National Army Commander Pays Official Visit to Ukraine

CHISINAU, October 30, 2018 — National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Cutie, is paying an official visit to Ukraine at the invitation of his counterpart, General of the Army, Victor Mujenco.

While in Ukraine, Brig. Gen. Cutie will meet with representatives of the Commanding Corps of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army and the Military Academy from Odessa and will talk about the opportunities of consolidating the bilateral military cooperation, the concept of professional development of the staff of National Army privates, sergeants, and NCOS and the reformation of the defense system of the Republic of Moldova.

The National Army Commander will also visit the Joint Operational Headquarters, where he will meet with Lieutenant-General Serghei Naev, Joint Forces Commander.
