Junior Commanders Course Held in Bulboaca Is Over

CHISINAU, November 2, 2018 — The Junior Commanders Course organized by the Military Academy of Armed Forces (MAAF) “Alexandru cel Bun” at the National Army Military Training Base during October 8 — November 1, 2018 has ended. On this occasion, a ceremony has been organized in Bulboaca during which the participants received their graduation diplomas.

According to MAAF rector, Col. Sergiu Plop, this year, the course has been attended by platoon commanders from all the National Army garrisons. The participants have been trained by a team of military instructors from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (BMATT).

The source added that the training included theoretical and practical sessions on how to organize the activity of a subunit commander (group-platoon level), as well as a tactical field exercise.

At the graduation ceremony, National Army Deputy Commander, Col. Eduard Ohladciuc, congratulated the 18 service members and expressed his hope that the experience and knowledge obtained throughout the four weeks of the course will be useful during their service.

Col. Ohladciuc also thanked the team of British instructors for their contribution to the planning and organization of this course and mentioned that such activities help the Moldovan service members to learn the best practices in the field from their colleagues from Great Britain.
