Best Conscripts Awarded

CHISINAU, June 27, 2011 — The best conscripts of Chisinau garrison, that had concluded their 12-month military service within the National Army, were awarded diplomas, certificates of gratitude, distinctions and military ranks.

30 of the best conscripts were put in reserve being accompanied by the military band. The National Army leadership awarded the “Eminent Conscript” badge, military ranks and certificates during an event that brought together parents of conscripts put in reserve.

Brigadier Gen. Iurie Dominic, Chief of National Army Main Staff, National Army Commander, stated the conscripts who had fulfilled their duties with much responsibility while in the military deserve all our appreciation.

“I would like to congratulate you on the successful conclusion of the 12-month military service in the National Army. You did your job with dignity and commitment and I am grateful to you for the responsibility and interest you learned military art with”, Gen. Dominic stated, who congratulated the conscripts’ parents too.

“After wearing the military uniform, you’ve become more disciplined and responsible, which will be of great use to you from now on. On behalf of National Army leadership, I would like to thank leaders of all ranks that joined their efforts to train these young men”, Dominic pointed out.

Along with the event, the National Army organizes the spring conscription to the Armed Forces. The conscription has officially started April 26 and will end July 30. During this period of time, 1125 young men shall join the military.

In May 2011, other 50 conscripts from Chisinau Garrison were awarded diplomas and certificates of appreciation in front of their parents and military staff.
