Training Camp for National Army Reserve Officers

CHISINAU, September 19, 2011 — The National Army carried out mobilization exercises for reserve officers during September 14-16.

According to Col. Eduard Ohladciuc, Chief of Personnel Directorate of National Army Main Staff, this event is meant to train the reserve officers of the army in compliance with a new concept approved by the Republic of Moldova Government last year.

Col. Ohladciuc said the training had brought together over 170 reserve officers from the local and central administration.

The training process consists of two stages. At the first stage, the participants had theoretical classes with a focus on Republic of Moldova military Legislation. The first part of the course was held in military administrative institutions.

The second stage included shootings and National Army combat vehicle driving exercises carried out at the training sites of Moldova, Stefan cel Mare and Dacia Light Brigades.

Such kind of mobilization drills involving central and local public authorities, as well as active reserve officers were also held in July.
