Preventive Medical Center
MissionThe Preventive Medical Center is a specialized military health institution accredited by the National Health Accreditation and Assessment Council, that watches over the state public health and sanitary-veterinary condition within National Army military units and institutions of the Ministry of Defense. DutiesThe Preventive Medical Center performs instrumental, sanitary-hygienic and sanitary-veterinary investigations. The institution also works on the improvement of food supply, accommodation and work conditions of servicemen. The Center has nearly 300 military units under direction. Nearly 15 000 investigations are carried out in the bacteriological laboratory of the institution.
The Preventive Medical Center has a mobile work group watching over public health and sanitary-veterinary conditions in areas affected by weather disasters or other bad factors. |
