The Ministry of Defense announces about the selection of National Army servicemen and reserve officers for career transition courses carried out with the financial support of the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
I. LEGAL BACKGROUND:
Art.22 of Law No. 162-XV as of 22.07.2005 “on the status of servicemen”;
Government Decision No.1042 as of 19.09.2007 “For the endorsement of Regulations on servicemen and reserve (retiree) citizens career transition”;
Memorandum of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, that is the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and Republic of Moldova Government “On career transition and social integration of servicemen and reserve (retiree) citizens of the Republic of Moldova”, concluded 24.06.2010;
2011 Action Plan on career transition and social integration of servicemen and reserve (retiree) citizens within the National Army (approved by the Minister of Defense January 4, 2011).
II. BENEFICIARIES
(citizens eligible for the course to be supported in compliance with Project No. 3100071 on re-employment of servicemen and reserve (retiree) citizens of the Republic of Moldova):
1st category — Servicemen having more than 15 years experience that did not intend to conclude a new military service agreement (who has three years left to work in the military) or the year when their military employment agreement expires);
2nd category — Reserve (retiree) citizens who gave up military service because of health condition or due to the reorganization of the military unit/institution, whatever the work experience;
3rd category — Reserve citizens having more than 15 years experience (mainly servicemen discharged in the last three years of service).

The training courses will be held 5 days a week, from 08:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m.) and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
Graduates will be awarded diplomas certified by the Ministry of Education and provided support in job search process.
Applicants shall submit a report or demand to the commander (chief of military institution/department/directorate) of the military unit (military center), containing the following data:
The main specialty the citizen/serviceman applies for;
Additional specialty the citizen/serviceman applies for.
The applicant shall enclose the following documents:
Active duty certificate (for servicemen — released by personnel services) or the extract of the card (for reserve/retiree citizens — released by administrative-military structures) certifying the work experience in the military, reasons/causes of discharge from active duty;
Copy of graduation diploma of an institution of higher education (military or civil);
Copy of employee ID card (for active duty);
Copy of the military service record card (for reserve/retiree citizens);
Copy of the Identity Card;
Copy of Employment Record Book (optional);
Profile of the applicant to be filled out by the serviceman/ reserve (retiree) citizen (See the enclosed sample form).
Such courses are meant to ease graduates’ integration in the civil professional environment.
