General Inspection Directorate
MissionThe mission of the General Inspection Directorate, as an independent institution of the Ministry of Defense, is to inspect, observe and control over the condition of the institutions of the Ministry of Defense and Main Staff, troops and services of main units and military units of the National Army.
DutiesThe General Inspection Directorate checks the activity of the institutions of the Ministry of Defense and Main Staff, main units and military units of the National Army in order to assess the mobilization and task service condition, the quality of the military service and combat readiness by comparing the results achieved to the expected ones, measuring performances with the initial requirements, identifying discrepancies and taking all the necessary measures to remove them.
The General Inspection Directorate consists of the following departments:— Department 1 Counter Corruption and Protectionism;
— Department 2 Special Investigations and Social Issues;
— Department 3 Control of Combat Readiness and Military Executive Activity;
— Department 4 Organization and Control of Health Service;
— Personnel and Secretariat Service.
