Shooting Championship Winners Awarded
CHISINAU, March 6, 2012 — The Interim Chief of Main Staff, National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Vitalie Stoian, awarded Tuesday, March 6, medals and diplomas to the winners of the National Army Shooting Championship held at the National Sports Club of the Army.
According to LTC Vasile Olednic, Chief of Physical and Sports Training of the National Army, the competition brought together 75 servicemen from 20 National Army military units and institutions of the Ministry of Defense. The quoted source stated the winner of the competition was Fulger Special Operations Battalion team, followed by the team of Stefan cel Mare Light Brigade (2nd place) and Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of the Armed Forces (3rd place).
The National Army Shooting Championship is a yearly contest aiming at checking the professional skills acquired by the servicemen during the training process.
