Minister of Defense Studies at Harvard

Chisinau, August 16, 2012 — Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta attends these days (August 12-24) the course “Senior Executives in National and International Security”, organized at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, USA.

The two-week program is a forum for senior executives working in the national security and defense area meant to deepen their understanding of current global and regional security issues.

According to Minister Marinuta, being part of this course is important for both, the National Army and the Republic of Moldova. The course is meant to improve defense policies and strategies, contribute to the successful implementation of reforms and helps fulfill the security and defense responsibilities assumed by the Republic of Moldova.

The Minister of Defense graduated from the Fort Leavenworth Command and General Staff College, Kansas, and the Naval Postgraduate School of Monterey, USA. Vitalie Marinuta is a Master of Security Studies.
