Those who will join us will be able to study not only in the country within the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”, but also within the renowned institutions of higher education with military profile in the U.S. and some European countries. Thus, we will be able to incorporate professional military in the National Army that will facilitate the efforts required to modernize the national military institution, “said the Minister of Defence.
In turn, Turgay Shen, the general manager of the Lyceum “Horizon”, said that the institution he heads has proposed to organize such events every year. “I am sure that high school students know less relating to the specific activity of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army. I want to mention that we have some of our high school graduates students at the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”. This demonstrates that the military structure is one of interest among other professions chosen by our graduates and we hope that this is not the last meeting of this kind, “said Turgay Shen.
The Minister of Defense promised the students that in the first half of 2013 the collaboration between the two institutions will continue with a trip to the Military Academy and a one-day training at Bulboaca polygon.
