Fulger Special Forces Battalion Men – Best Target Shooters

Chisinau, February 22, 2013 — The service members of Fulger Special Forces Battalio won the cup of the Shooting Championship of the National Army, held at the Central Sports Club of the Army.

At the team contest, the Special Forces Battalion won the first place, followed by Stefan cel Mare Brigade and the Land Force Command. As for the individual competition, the best target shooters of the army were: 1^st LT Vitalie Pascari-Tomoianu, Sergiu Blanuta, Radion Gultur and E3 Alexandru Trifautan. The participants shot the pistol and the gun from different distance.

The Head of the Physical Training and Sports Service of the National Army, LTC Vasile Olednic, this year, the TT Pistol — fixed targets test was established for the first time as part of the competition. Vasile Olednic pointed out that the competition had brought together 15 teams of about 60 service members from all the National Army units.

The National Army Shooting Championship is designed to check the professional readiness within competitions. The event is part of the 2013 control exam of active duty service members.
