Multinational Exercise Starts in HohenfelsCHISINAU, March 7, 2013 — The National Army troops deployed to “Mission Rehearsal Exercise” have started training at Hohenfels Military Training Ground, Germany. The leader of the Moldovan contingent, LTC Roman Ceban, said the National Army service members have started the first stage of the exercise including theoretical trainings for their further practical assignments. The source also said that the service members learn how to use the electronic monitoring systems and radio communication devices, techniques of driving HAMER combat vehicles, as well as night visual devices and low visibility devices. The head of the Moldovan troops said they will be given infantry weapons and other equipment to be able to carry out their established missions. The National Army deployed 144 professional service members of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion and Fulger Special Forces Battalion to Hohenfels. “Mission Readeness Exercise” is conducted by the United States Army in Europe.
