Best Conscripts Demobilized

Chisinau, April 9, 2013 —"National Army’s objective is to command respect amongst young citizens of the Republic of Moldova for the sacred values of the nation, promote true spirit of patriotism, and responsible citizenry. They, today’s soldiers, should never forget that they are the future of the country," acting Defense Minister Vitalie Marinuta said during the ceremony dedicated to the best conscripts’ demobilization held at the Ministry of Defense.

Vitalie Marinuta congratulated 20 best conscripts and awarded them the Honors Servicemember insignia and diplomas of honor. Minister wished them to apply in their daily life all skills learned during their military service such as: discipline, punctuality, ambition and honor.

Vitalie Marinuta offered letters of gratitude to conscripts’ parents for encouraging their sons to do their military service.

This spring, 1300 young men will be demobilized after their 12-month military service.

During April-July conscription campaign, 1150 young men will be drafted into the National Army.
