Republic of Moldova’s Citizens Trust the ArmyCHISINAU, April 25, 2013 — National Army moved one step up in Republic of Moldova citizens’ credibility survey, as April Public Opinion Barometer showed. The survey, carried out at the national level on a number of 1100 people, points out that 41,3% of respondents trust the army. Moreover, the National Army is the leader among government institutions as far as citizens’ credibility is concerned, being preceded by church and mass media. Thus, 77,8 % of respondents said they trusted church and 58,3% — mass-media. At the bottom of the poll, the Government has been appreciated by 14,8% of surveyed citizens, Parliament — 12,4% and political parties — 8,7%.
