Conscripts Celebrate Easter at Home


CHISINAU, May 3, 2013 — About 50 percent of National Army soldiers will celebrate Easter holidays at home.

Thus, within May 4-7, about 50 percent of National Army conscripts will go home to celebrate the Resurrection of God’s son with their families. Other 50 percent of National Army soldiers will be provided leave within May 11-14, when Christians from Republic of Moldova celebrate the Easter of Blajini (Easter of the Gentle).

According to Col. Eduard Ohladciuc, Head of Personnel Division, Main Staff, most diligent soldiers will spend their holidays at home. Col. Ohladciuc added that soldiers remaining in military units will attend educational and religious activities, including church services held in the vicinity of units.

The National Army soldiers will be provided Easter meals, including Easter eggs, cakes and sweets.
