Military Academy Graduates Supplied Vacancies in Military Units



CHISINAU, June 27, 2013 — About 70 graduates of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” were assigned today to vacant position in military units of the National Army. Other 57 young people, who studied at the border guards and carabineer specialties, will be assigned to positions, as soon as they are deployed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the Head of Human Resource Management of the Ministry of Defense, Col.Vitalie Butnaru, students are distributed to vacant positions in a transparent manner, based on the Military Service Regulations, that provides competitive assignment to positions. “Graduates were given the opportunity to analyze the list of vacant positions in the National Army. Each of them chose his/her position according to the final average grades, the level of discipline and fulfilled duties within four years of studies at the Military Academy”, Col. Butnaru said.

The quoted source mentioned that most of the graduates of the Academy were sent to Brigades “Moldova”, “Stefan cel Mare” and “Dacia”, the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion, Guard Battalion, Communications Battalion and Engineer Battalion, as well as the Center of Communications and Informatics of the National Army. The biggest number of vacancies requested by the graduates was in Chisinau garrison.

Class 2013 of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” has 124 graduates. 67 of them will serve in National Army units, 32 — in the Border Guard Service and 25 — in Carabineer Troops.
