Military Academy: Final Admission ResultsCHISINAU, July 25, 2013 — 69 young people were admitted this year at Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun”, with the average mark of 8,24 for men and 8,41 for women. According to the admission results announced today, 29 students will study infantry and per 20 — artillery and communications. Therefore, more than 200 high school graduates competed for a place at the military academy. The young people passed two admission exams: intelligence test and physical training test. The intelligence test consisted of questions of different subjects: Romanian language, Mathematics, Physics and History. The physical training test included running, pull ups for men and curl-ups for women. According to commander of Military Academy, Col. Mihail Buclis, this year, for the first time, two women were admitted at artillery and infantry specialties. Other five women will study communications. “Based on the results obtained last year, at the admission exams, for communications specialty, we decided to admit in 2013 women at infantry and artillery specialties too. The competition was hard: we had 37 women-candidates”, Col. Mihail Buclis said.
