Center of Communications and Informatics Marks 21st Anniversary
Chisinau, October 16, 2013 — The Chief of Main Staff, National Army Commander, Col. Igor Gorgan, attended the 21st anniversary ceremony of the Center of Communications and Informatics (CCI), held at the Ministry of Defense.
The National Army Commander appreciated the performance and achievements of the unit personnel in carrying out their missions on ensuring effective communication between National Army units and higher rank officers. Col. Gorgan also revealed the success and professionalism demonstrated by military specialists in the informational technologies system within the multinational exercise “Combined Endeavor”, which the National Army joined in 1998.
In his turn, CCI Commander, Maj. Andrei Tincu, pointed out that, throughout 21 years of activity, the ongoing training of personnel within national and international exercises, as well as the professional development by attending IT courses, has always been a priority in carrying out their missions.
On the 21st anniversary of CCI, a group of servicemembers were offered diplomas of honor.
