National Army Servicemembers Trained in Multinational Operations LogisticsChisinau, November 6, 2013 — A group of international experts train the National Army servicemembers in planning and execution of multinational operations as part of the workshop “Expeditionary Logistics”, held within November According to the Deputy Chief of National Army Main Staff for Resource Management, Col. Andrei Sarban, the seminar focuses on personnel training in the logistics area, in compliance with the Partnership for Peace (PfP) operational and planning procedures. The group of experts including logistics specialists from Great Britain, Finland and USA, conduct seminars with the Moldovan servicemembers on the National Support Element (NSE) and “Reception, Staging and Onward Movement” (RSOM), which are important issues of the international operations. The workshop “Expeditionary Logistics” is one of the series of activities carried out within the Partnership for Peace Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise “Logex −15”, that will take place in Serbia.The aim of the event is to develop logistics capabilities of the National Army personnel,in compliance with the international standards, as well as insure interoperability in a multinational environment. |
