Training Center of “Moldova” Brigade Hosts "Under Clear Sky" Exercise

Chisinau, December 11, 2013 — About 150 soldiers participate at the exercise “Under Clear Sky — 2013”, within December 10-12, held at the Training Center of Brigade “Moldova” from Balti.

According to the Commander of Land Force Command (LFC), Col. Viorel Placinta, the participants in the exercise are evaluated in terms of readiness to perform tasks in the Security Zone, as part of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces. The soldiers execute tactical peacekeeping situations at six training sites, patrols missions in the area of ​​responsibility, negotiations for the release of hostages, evacuation of wounded, rejection of attack“, the LFC Commander noted.

Col. Placinta also mentioned that the 150 soldiers, who participated at “Under Clear Sky” exercise, will be transferred, at the end of December, to do their military service within the subunits of Moldovan peacekeeping forces from Cocieri, Cosnita and Varnita. These soldiers attended a four-month training course at the Training Centre of Brigade “Moldova”.
