This year, the agenda of the forum, which was attended by 270 people, included such important topics as NATO Initiatives “Connected Forces Initiative” and “Smart Defence”. The first initiative is the experience of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), within which the allies and partners reached a higher level of interoperability and integration of the capabilities provided. In this sense, NATO expressed the desire to continue and extend this format.

The conference of leaders of transformation processes within the allied and partner armed forces,gives the possibility to persons in charge of transformation and development of military institutions from the participating countries, to discuss initiatives and ideas in this area, and the possibility to exchange the best practices on the adjustment of defense systems to current standards, as well as to identify cooperation areas.
