WO Victor Pinzaru Fails to Qualify for Next Competition at Sochi Olympic Games

Chisinau, February 11, 2014 — Warrant officer Victor Pinzaru failed to qualify for the freestyle skiing competition at Winter Olympics from Sochi.

The National Army sportsman finished the 77^th the qualification stage out of 86 participants. His time was 4 minutes and 04, 91 seconds. According to the rule, the top 30 sportsmen pass to the next stage of the competition.

The warrant officer Victor Pinzaru was the third Moldovan sportsman who competed at Winter Olympic Games from Sochi. Before that, Bogdan Macovei arrived the 36^th in the sled competition and warrant officer Alexandra Camenscic won the 86^th place at women’s sprint biathlon test.

Republic of Moldova is represented at Winter Olympics from Sochi by 4 sportsmen. All of them are members of the Central Sports Club of the Army.
