Conscripts from Balti and Cahul Take Military Oath

Chisinau, February 28, 2014 — About 400 young soldiers, recently enlisted in the National Army, graduates of basic military training course, took the military oath today within a ceremony held in “Dacia” Brigade, Cahul, and “Moldova” Brigade from Balti.

The oath ceremonies brought together leaders of the Ministry of Defense, local public authorities, veterans of the Armed Forces, as well as conscripts’ parents, relatives and friends.

After the soldiers’ march, the guests watched a few weapon handling exercises and got acquainted with the soldiers’ living conditions and technical equipment of the brigades.

After the event, the soldiers will get a four-day leave. Then, they will be distributed to all the National Army units.
