Moldovan-American Experience in Cyber Security Area

Chisinau, March 5, 2014 — About 30 National Army servicemembers attend, within March 3-7, the workshop “Risk management in cyber security area”, conducted by the North Carolina National Guard experts, USA.

According to Col. Oleg Guzun, Head of Communications and Computer Systems Directorate, the event brings together experts in communications and information technology and aims at developing capabilities of information systems protection against cyber threats, as well as risk management.

The quoted source specified that the participants exchange experience on improving personnel’s professional capabilities on cyber security protection. The discussions also focus on the development of cyber security cooperation with national institutions for experience exchange and joint management of activities.

The workshop “Risk management in cyber security area” brings together representatives of the Security Intelligence Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Enterprise “Special Telecommunications Center”.
