Seminars on Testing Professional Integrity Take Place in the National Army
Chisinau, July 23, 2014 — About 900 servicemembers and civil servants of the National Army were trained, within June 20 — July 22, in the professional integrity testing area.
The goal of the activity, conducted by the General Inspection Directorate, in cooperation with National Anticorruption Center (NAC), was to inform the staff on testing methodology, consequences of the negative results of the integrity tests, the rights and obligations of tested people and procedures of legal disproof of disciplinary penalties based on professional integrity testing results.
The training sessions were held in all the military garrisons. Also, the commanders of the Military Territorial Centers were informed in April about the decrease of corruption level in the defense sector.
Law No.325 on public servants’ professional integrity testing will come into force on August 14, 2014. Till then, NAC is intended to provide methodological support for the regulatory framework adjustment on the professional integrity testing.
